Today was kind of a long day but at the same time it was the most relaxing time so far throughout the trip. Today we woke up early and flew from Sydney to Cairns. It is so much warmer here. I love it. When we got to the hotel we all realized it was definitely the best hotel we had been at throughout the trip. The view out my window was gorgeous! After we put all our stuff down we decided we were going to all go down to the lagoon. This was a man made saltwater lagoon! I decided not to go into the water but I did sit out and tan. Also we got a lot of freedom here. The teachers just let us go and get what we wanted to eat and just do what we wanted with our time until we had to meet back. After we were done at the lagoon we all met back up and walked back to the hotel we all changed and were let out for a night on the town and we got to go and do whatever we wanted to until 9:30. It was great! There was a group of about eight of us and we went to Outback Jack's and Arnaud did the Outback Jack's challenge and won. After that we all went into the hot tub! It was a pretty good night and after that we found out we didn't even have a journal for the night. What a relaxing day. :)
